Job Description: Summer Analyst, Equity Capital Markets (ECM)

Responsibilities:

• Market Research: Maintain detailed market update materials and offering databases, contributing to the growth of BNP Paribas’ US equity platform.
• Marketing: Develop marketing materials for clients.
• Deal Execution: Manage live deal execution processes.
• Client Interaction: Gain experience in client-facing interactions through both client pitches and live deal execution.

Expectations:

• High Visibility: Given senior management’s focus on growing the ECM business, interns will have high visibility within the firm and the opportunity to work with senior deal team members.
• Integrated Training: Participate in a fully integrated training program alongside other recent graduates across the bank.

Requirements:

• Graduation Year: Winter 2025 – Spring 2026
• Major: All majors accepted
• Skills: Strong level of accounting and corporate finance knowledge, including financial modeling capabilities; strong knowledge of and interest in the equity markets; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong knowledge of Excel; ability to balance multiple responsibilities at one time; capacity to handle potentially intense working hours; previous experience in banking or financial services preferred.

Summer Internship Program:

• Duration: 10 weeks
• Experience: Acquire in-depth insight into BNP Paribas and gain valuable practical experience working alongside award-winning specialists in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
• Mentorship: Gain guidance from mentors and exposure to senior leaders within the Bank.
• Training: Engage in an initial induction training, complete technical projects, and collaborate with colleagues across the Bank.
• Networking: Participate in weekly senior speaker events and roundtable discussions, network with colleagues, and learn about industry topics through workshops, speaker series, philanthropy, and social events.

Compensation:

The annualized base salary for this position in New York, NY is $100,000.
