Description:
Summer Analyst Role:
As a Summer Analyst, you will work directly on the trading floor alongside experienced Analysts and Portfolio Managers. This provides you with valuable hands-on experience and exposure to different aspects of the hedge fund business. You will be involved in projects that directly contribute to the firm’s success.
Past Projects Include:
• Implementing prototypes for relative value strategies in sovereign debt.
• Statistically analyzing prepayment in non-QM RMBS portfolios and determining its sensitivity to mortgage rates.
• Engaging in data analysis involving large SQL databases to identify default indicators in commercial real estate properties.
• Researching and modeling the impact of transitioning from LIBOR to new benchmarks on structured products.
The Internship also includes:
• Presentations from senior members of the firm to broaden your understanding of the hedge fund business.
• Opportunities to learn about international capital markets, trading strategies, and risk analysis.
Required Skills and Currently pursuings:
• Class of 2026 student with top academic credentials pursuing a degree in Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and programming skills.
• Keen insight with an interest in a career in finance.
• Eagerness to learn about international capital markets, trading strategies, and risk analysis.
Students with non-quantitative degrees are encouraged to apply if they have sufficient coursework in quantitative fields.
