Job Description: Summer Analyst – Citi Markets, Chicago

Citi is seeking Summer Analysts to join their Citi Markets team in Chicago. This is a highly competitive and selective program designed to provide a well-rounded experience for aspiring finance professionals.

What you’ll do:

• Impactful work: As part of the Markets team, you’ll play a direct role in providing financing solutions to leading corporations, governments, and institutional investors.
• Diverse rotation: You’ll gain valuable experience through rotations across various product areas and functions over the 10-week program.
• Hands-on learning: You’ll actively participate in research, trading, and marketing of securities to institutional clients.
• Comprehensive training: The program includes a week-long training program taught by industry experts, covering all fundamental aspects of the Markets Summer Analyst role.
• Networking opportunities: Weekly senior speaker events, networking sessions, and group projects allow you to build relationships with industry professionals and your fellow analysts.
• Project experience: You’ll work with peers to complete projects and pitch trade ideas, developing essential skills and knowledge.

What we’re looking for:

• Academic excellence: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (graduating in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026) with a GPA of 3.3 or above.
• Passion for Markets: A strong interest in the financial markets and a desire to succeed in the field.
• Global perspective: A broad understanding of global markets and a commitment to making an impact.
