Summer 2026 IT Intern

Location: Norfolk, VA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a driven individual who wishes to obtain real estate investment industry experience, specifically related to informational technology functions. Under the direction of various department managers, you will acquire real-world job skills by following personalized training, performing key job responsibilities, and executing meaningful projects within the IT business discipline.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Software/Hardware Support: Provide support by troubleshooting issues, assisting end-users, and improving processes.
  • Collaboration & Analysis: Collaborate with IT Analysts to gather and document requirements, analyze data, and contribute to project plans.
  • Engineering Assistance: Assist Engineering teams with coding, testing, and/or debugging tasks for ongoing projects.
  • Project Management Support: Support IT project management initiatives, ensuring tasks are on schedule and deliverables meet business needs.
  • Skill Development: Learn and apply tools, frameworks, and systems critical to IT operations.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvement efforts and provide creative solutions to IT challenges.

  • Education: Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited program.
  • Commitment: Available for a 10-week commitment (June 4th – August 8th, 2026).
  • Travel: Willingness to travel for both the Kick-Off and Capstone events.
  • Technical Skills: Computer proficiency.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills.
  • Professionalism: Demonstrated professionalism in quality of work, punctuality, attendance, and attitude.
  • Work Ethic: Dependability, good judgment, and strong organizational skills.
