About This Role:

Internships at ConnectOne Bank offer a paid working experience to college students across various departments. This summer, the internship provides a comprehensive overview of careers in the banking field. We are seeking a dynamic, energetic intern eager to learn about our company by assisting various departments.

Key Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities:

• Work closely with our team to conduct research and capture data.
• Attend meetings to learn about various aspects of the banking industry.
• Participate in department-specific tasks and group projects with fellow interns.

Highlights from Previous Summer Programs:

• Networking Events: Participate in various networking events throughout the summer.
• Departmental Overviews: Engage in “Departmental Overview and Interview” sessions covering a variety of business and development topics.
• Community Service: Participate in community service initiatives by working with CNOB partnered Not-for-Profit organizations.

Specific Experience within Deposit Operations:

Interns joining our Deposit Operations team will gain invaluable experience, including:

• Electronic Services Support: Learn and experience tools for daily support of electronic services provided to clients.
• Payments Processing: Understand the inner workings of various payment systems, including Wires, Zelle, RTP, Debit Card, and ACH.
• Specialty Accounts: Learn how to oversee and manage Specialty Accounts such as IOLTA, IOLA & IOTA, escrow, excess FDIC Insurance products, and 1031 accounts, and understand their benefits to clients.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with thought leaders and company innovators.
• Project Assistance: Assist with bank-wide and departmental projects and/or initiatives specifically within the Deposit Operation’s area.

Program Logistics:

• Program Dates: May 28th, 2026, through August 7th, 2026.
• Duration: Full-time, 40 hours or more weekly. Attendance is crucial for the best experience.
• Location: Our Deposit Operations internships will be held in our Union, NJ location.
• Travel: Travel to branches, corporate offices, and community events will be required.
