Summer 2026 Brand Marketing Intern | Central Specialty Pet
The Tone:
This is a 10-week paid summer internship at Central Specialty Pet, located in Franklin, WI (metro-Milwaukee) with a hybrid work environment. Central Specialty Pet supports nationally recognized brands within the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry, specifically focusing on pet and wild bird products like Kaytee and C&S. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience influencing brand performance, strategy, and integrated marketing campaigns that serve passionate pet parents and wild bird enthusiasts. Interns contribute to real business initiatives and see firsthand how brand strategy translates into marketplace results.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Lead: Co-lead development of new product concepts from consumer insight through commercialization planning.
• Campaign Development: Develop integrated marketing communication campaigns, including corresponding digital and social media strategy.
• Market Strategy: Support go-to-market strategy for new or existing product lines.
• Growth Identification: Identify growth opportunities within targeted consumer segments or retail channels.
• Data Analysis: Analyze consumer trends, market dynamics, category performance, and brand results to uncover strategic insights.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Early Career.
• Experience: Rising Junior or Senior status preferred, with a strong academic record and demonstrated interest in brand marketing, strategy, consumer insights, digital marketing, and analytics.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and strategic thinking, leadership, initiative, and ability to collaborate effectively in team environments.
• Bonus: Creative, resourceful, and motivated self-starter with a strong drive for learning and professional growth.
