About the Role

Entegral is seeking driven and passionate technologists to join their twelve-week Summer 2025 Student Internship program. Interns will be part of a team tasked with developing an application from concept to implementation, working side-by-side with product teams on real-world production applications. They will have the opportunity to work firsthand with various technologies and programming languages. As an intern, you will be responsible for creating innovative business solutions for real-world problems.

The internship position is a hybrid of remote and onsite at Entegral’s office location in Madison, Wisconsin. Entegral is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce.

Compensation: $25/hour

Responsibilities:

• Interpret requirements to create custom applications
• Develop prototypes and perform application programming
• Perform unit and integration testing
• Identify and creatively resolve problems
• Develop an understanding of Entegral’s business environment, agile culture, and structure to support work initiatives

Entegral’s Technical Environment Includes:

• Java and Object-Oriented Application Development
• Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and Docker

• MySQL/NoSQL (Mongo) database environments

Qualifications:

Required:

• Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by Entegral.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have graduated high school or GED equivalent.
• Must be enrolled full-time as a rising senior (for Summer of 2025) or credit equivalent at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
• Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems majors.
• Must plan to be in the Madison area for the majority of the summer and be available to report to the office at 2323 Crossroads Dr, two days per week.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and dedicated workspace are required for hybrid/work from home days.
• Must be available for the full 12-week internship program and available Monday-Friday (40 hours/week) from May 19th – August 8th, 2025.
• Must have completed the following courses with satisfactory grades:
CS200: Programming
ICS300: Programming I
ICS400: Programming II
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Must have educational exposure to object-oriented design (Java preferred).

Preferred:

• Relational database knowledge
• SQL knowledge
• Previous Internship, Capstone, or Co-Op experience
CS506: Software Engineering
CS352: Digital System Fundamentals
CS577: Introduction to Algorithms
