Job Description: Software Engineer Intern

This internship aims to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths within the software engineering field.

Responsibilities:

• Build new features that reach hundreds of millions of users globally.
• Solve complex technical problems on a large scale.
• Participate in technical discussions related to product and engineering work.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Graduate/Master’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2025.
• Experience with Python, Java, Golang, C#, or C++.
• Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduating December 2025 onwards with the intent to return to the degree program after the internship.
• Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internships, work experience, coding competitions, or publications.
• High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities.

Internship Details:

• The internship program runs for 12 weeks beginning in May/June 2025.
• Start dates:
• Monday, May 12
• Monday, May 19
• Tuesday, May 27 (Memorial Day, May 26)
• Monday, June 9
• Monday, June 23
• Candidates can apply to a maximum of two positions.
• Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early application is encouraged.
• Online Assessment (Only for RD): Candidates who pass the resume evaluation will be invited to participate in TikTok’s technical online assessment in HackerRank.
