Job Description: Summer 2025 Recruiting Intern
This role is designed to support the Aeronautics Talent Acquisition organization in developing and executing staffing and recruitment plans for experienced professionals. The intern will work closely with recruiters and sourcers, gaining valuable experience in the HR field.
Responsibilities:
• Assist recruiters and sourcers with various aspects of the recruiting process, including:
• Candidate sourcing and screening
• Scheduling interviews
• Managing candidate communications
• Coordinating onboarding processes
• Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), such as Talent Suite, to manage candidate data and track recruiting progress.
• Stay updated on current HR practices, processes, and regulations.
Qualifications:
• Required:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience and proficiency using relevant software tools like Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated knowledge of human resources practices, processes, and regulations.
• Desired:
• Previous internship experience in human resources or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

• Clearance Level: None
• Remote Work: Full-time remote work is available with potential travel to Lockheed Martin offices for meetings.
• Work Schedules: Flexible schedules are supported, including condensed options for additional time off.
• Pay Rate: The annual base salary range is between $42,120 and $48,464 in certain states, and between $44,200 and $48,464 in most major metropolitan areas. The actual offer will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
• Benefits: A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, employee assistance programs, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
