About the Talent Acquisition Summer Internship:
This internship is a key part of Dow Jones’ Talent Acquisition (TA) team. The intern will gain valuable experience across various aspects of TA, contributing to projects and gaining insights into the field. The internship is a rotational program, allowing the intern to work with different team members and engage with diverse projects. These projects will cover a range of areas, including:
• Workday Operations: Assisting with optimizing the Workday system, including data analysis, reporting, and insights.
• Hiring Process Projects: Contributing to projects aimed at enhancing the company’s hiring process.
• Talent Acquisition: Supporting the overall TA team through tasks like training, meeting preparation, creating decks and playbooks, drafting newsletters, and contributing to policy development.
• Internship Programming: Participating in the organization’s internship program and contributing to governance documents and structures.
• Early Careers Projects: Engaging in projects focused on early career development and recruitment.
The role is hybrid, based in the New York City office.
Responsibilities:
• Completing specific, project-based tasks across all areas of TA practice.
• Assisting with the optimization of the Workday system.
• Contributing to the overall success of the TA team through a range of tasks and projects.
• Gaining technical knowledge and assisting with projects related to the company’s online systems and platforms.
• Participating in early career initiatives and developing relevant documentation and structures.
Qualifications:
• Must have completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Demonstrated curiosity, eagerness to learn, and a passion for innovation.
• Interest in process improvement and organizational efficiency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, including Google Suite and Forms.
