About the B2B Enterprise Marketing Team

The B2B Enterprise Marketing team, a part of Dow Jones’ global Marketing organization, plays a crucial role in driving business growth. Working closely with the product and sales teams of Dow Jones’ enterprise businesses – Dow Jones Newswires, Factiva, and Risk & Compliance – the team employs a client-centric approach. They focus on developing and activating strategies and campaigns across specific industries and accounts, aiming to build awareness, enhance reputation, and deepen relationships.

The Organic Social Media Internship

This internship offers the opportunity to assist with the B2B Enterprise Marketing team’s social media activities. You will collaborate with various marketing team members to translate campaign strategies into engaging social media content for each of the business lines. Reporting to the B2B Social Media Manager, you will support the team in developing and executing organic social media campaigns designed to:

Increase awareness: Promote Dow Jones’ brand and enterprise solutions.
Drive customer acquisition: Generate leads and attract new clients.
Enhance engagement: Foster interactions and build a strong online community.
Improve customer retention: Strengthen relationships with existing clients.

In this role, you will:

Create engaging content: Develop and curate content for various social media platforms that drive engagement and community growth.
Produce visual content: Create graphics and videos using tools like Canva to enhance content.
Monitor social channels: Track brand mentions, comments, and messages, actively engaging with the online community.
Analyze social data: Evaluate social media performance and optimize strategies based on data insights.
Research trends: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media tools and strategies.

Ideal candidate profile:

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• Passionate about social media and digital marketing, with a solid understanding of various platforms and trends.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
• Appreciation for visual communication, digital, social, and content strategies.
• Experience with tools like Sprout Social or Canva is a plus.

This internship is hybrid, based in New York, NY, and offers a salary of $25.00/hour.
