About SecondWind:
SecondWind is an athlete-first agency reinventing NIL and pro representation. It’s a startup led by former athletes, backed by pro sports executives, and shaped by students. They’re building a new blueprint for athlete representation that merges NIL strategy, pro-level guidance, and tech-powered tools to help athletes at every stage win both on and off the field. Founded by a former D1 athlete and supported by experts from the Mets, NCAA, and NFL, SecondWind is growing fast.
Job Description: Summer 2025 Internship Program
SecondWind is launching its Summer 2025 Internship Program and is recruiting standout D1 athletes to help build the future of sports business.
What You’ll Do:
• Represent and recruit teammates and peers into the SecondWind athlete family.
• Help develop SecondWind’s strategy for the college basketball and football transfer portals.
• Work directly with agents, founders, and advisors (ex-NFL, MLB, NCAA leaders).
• Reach out to brands, co-create NIL deals, and build the first athlete-focused NIL playbook.
• Gain experience in athlete marketing, scouting, and startup execution.
Ideal Candidates:
• Rising juniors/seniors at top athletic universities (Class of 2025–2027).
• Active athletes in football, basketball, volleyball, hockey, baseball, etc.
• Strong communicators with a bias for action and a passion for sports business.
• Interested in marketing, media, sales, NIL, and building something from scratch.
• Athletes who are good at what they do—and even better teammates.
Details:
• Duration: 10–12 weeks, Summer 2025 (flexible dates)
• Location: Remote, with optional in-person events
• Academic Credit: Available
• Time Commitment: 10 hrs/week — designed to work with your athlete schedule
