Job Description

Summer 2025 Internship Program:

Program Dates: June 2 – August 8, 2025
Time Commitment: 40 hours per week (exact schedule determined based on business needs).
Format: All listed opportunities require interns to work from Universal City, CA.

Direct-to-Consumer (Peacock): Join a fast-paced team at the heart of technology, sports, news, TV, movies, and more. Contribute to connecting people to what they love through culture-defining entertainment.
Operations & Technology (O&T): This $1B operating cash flow division performs critical functions including media, broadcast & studio operations, content supply chain, IT & engineering, and cybersecurity. Opportunities available in various locations, including New York, Los Angeles, Denver, Connecticut, and London.
TV Entertainment: Develop and schedule programming for networks like USA, SYFY, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, and Universal Kids. Contribute to a network known for its quality programs and ratings success.
Universal Filmed Entertainment Group (UFEG): Produce, acquire, market, and distribute filmed entertainment globally. Support diverse stories told by unique voices and contribute to an organization passionate about reflecting its global audience.

Specific Internship Roles:

Direct-to-Consumer (Peacock) HR: Support a dynamic team responsible for talent development, client relationships, and onboarding. Gain experience in various HR and operational support tasks.
Global Distribution – International Human Resources, Film: Support the Sales, Marketing, Finance, Business & Legal Affairs, and Research & Strategy functions of Global Distribution. Work on strategic initiatives and provide day-to-day support.
Media Group Talent & Org Development: Help shape strategy, manage change, improve processes, and develop high-performing teams. Assist with training sessions, workshops, and offsites.
Ops & Tech Human Resources: Contribute to a team supporting West Coast Studio Operations with experience in film & TV, broadcast & studio services, and more. Gain exposure to projects involving onboarding, rewards & recognition, talent acquisition, and data analytics.
Television & Streaming DEI: Join NBCU LAUNCH, a team committed to developing the next generation of content creators from diverse backgrounds. Support programs that provide networking, mentorship, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

Basic:
• Actively enrolled in a degree-granting program (June 2025 – August 2025).
• May 2025 graduates are not eligible.
• Sophomore standing or above (30 credits).
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Willing to work in Universal City, CA.
Desired:
• Junior standing or above.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Interest in HR, DEI, corporate communications, or employee engagement.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with SAP is a plus.

hourly Rates:

Student Interns: $17.50
Graduate Students (Direct-to-Consumer & Media Group): $25.00
