Job Description:
The BorgWarner Arden campus (Arden, NC) houses two world-class technical centers and a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility designing and producing turbochargers, fan, and fan drive components for the automotive industry. The campus offers numerous career opportunities within a scenic Western North Carolina setting.
Summer 2025 Internship Opportunities: These are paid internships with potential for housing support and travel reimbursement (pay varies by classification). Specific roles are determined by business needs, education, and experience. Available areas include:
• Application Engineering
• Design Engineering

• North American Technical Center – Instrumentation
• Program Management

Qualifications: Applicants should be students studying in relevant fields (ME, EE, CE/CS, BA, IT, Marketing) and possess the following:
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Passion for the automotive industry.
• Strong typing, word processing, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of plant manufacturing operations (preferred).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Effective problem-solving skills and hands-on aptitude.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings (especially for engineering internships).
• Knowledge of statistics, FMEA, Control Plan, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, DOE, and product/process capability (preferred).
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (preferred).
