Job Description:
JPL is seeking highly motivated college and university students for Summer 2025 internships in computer science and engineering. Interns will be vital team members in JPL engineering groups, partnering with world-renowned scientists and engineers on research and space missions exploring Earth, Mars, the outer solar system, and beyond. The internship involves exposure to research, technology development, and participation in production-quality engineering.

The internship program provides a stellar experience, including networking opportunities, tours, lectures, career advice, and preparation for future careers. Interns will work full-time (40 hours/week) for 12 weeks during the summer.
Qualifications:
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering major related to the work assignment, with a graduation date of December 2025 or later.
• Must have at least one semester or quarter remaining to complete the degree.
• Must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for 12 weeks during the summer.
• Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA (out of 4.0) or equivalent is required.
• Relevant internship experience is a plus.
• Recently completed coursework demonstrating understanding and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in a related field.
• General knowledge of applicable industry and/or academic practices and standards.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Compensation:
The typical hourly rate depends on education level:
• Freshman: $21
• Sophomore: $25
• Junior: $28.50
• Senior: $31
