About Cisco Acceleration Center (AC)

Cisco’s Acceleration Center (AC) is a strategic organization dedicated to achieving enterprise-wide success by driving key transformation objectives. Their mission is to:

Drive recurring revenue: Shifting Cisco’s business model towards a more sustainable revenue stream.
Shift to software: Embracing software-based solutions and services alongside hardware offerings.
Leverage the power of Cisco’s portfolio: Maximizing the value and synergy across Cisco’s diverse product and service offerings.
Focus on the lifecycle experience: Ensuring seamless customer experiences across all stages of their interactions with Cisco.

The AC partners closely with Cisco’s Executive Leadership Team, General Managers, and functional leaders to accelerate the company’s overall strategy. They act as in-house strategy consultants, framing complex problems, and as cross-functional product managers, driving critical enterprise-wide projects. They also manage the change management required to align Business Units, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and ONEx with the transformation objectives.

Summer 2025 Internship: Acceleration Center

This internship opportunity within the Acceleration Center is designed to provide a hands-on experience in supporting a cross-functional project directly aligned with Cisco’s immediate strategic priorities. As an intern, you will:

Work closely with senior Cisco leaders: Gaining invaluable insights and mentorship.
Experience as an in-house strategy consultant or product manager: Develop and hone your strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Drive enterprise-wide programs: Learn the intricacies of managing complex projects with significant organizational impact.

Sample Past Projects:

Building and testing different aspects for our next generation Offers
Finding opportunities for Cisco to improve its GTM capabilities in Cloud Marketplaces
Developing industry and competitive perspectives on standard processes
Supervising a pilot offer launch program and communicating recommendations to senior partners based on findings

Who You Are

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader and adept problem-solver with the ability to navigate complex cross-functional projects from inception to successful completion. You possess:

Strong understanding of financial analysis and business strategy
Proficiency in data analysis, Excel, and PowerPoint: Ability to develop metrics and KPIs for evaluating program results.
Experience in using both quantitative and qualitative data for strategy development
Proven ability to manage and deliver high-impact projects on time and within scope
Familiarity with networking and cloud technologies: Industry experience is a plus.
Experience working with analytics and finance teams: Building dashboards and tracking critical metrics.
Experience in leading pilot programs and validating new offers
