Job Description: Summer 2025 Internship

This is a 12-week paid internship program at James Hardie, offering hands-on experience in various fields, including HR, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, and IT. The program aims to provide valuable industry insights, skill enhancement, and career preparation.

What You’ll Do:

Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to impactful projects. Specific responsibilities include:

General Responsibilities: Collaboration on diverse projects and tasks; research and analysis to support project goals; report and presentation creation; participation in team meetings; implementation of industry best practices and company standards.

Functional Responsibilities (Specific to this role): Preparation and testing of inorganic composite materials; data analysis and report writing; collaboration with engineers on project progress; maintenance of a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

Required: Enrollment in an accredited university’s bachelor’s program (relevant discipline), anticipated graduation between December 2025 and May 2027 (rising junior or senior); minimum 3.0 GPA; full-time availability for 12 weeks during Summer 2025; reliable transportation; US work authorization.

Preferred: Major in chemical engineering, material science, or chemistry; knowledge of material science and engineering; experience with composite tensile testing; proficiency in office software; data analysis skills; attention to detail; strong written and verbal communication; critical thinking and project management skills.

Compensation and Benefits:
