Job Description: Summer 2025 Intern – Cyber Control Account Manager (Project Engineer)
This is a summer internship opportunity at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics for a Cyber Control Account Manager (Project Engineer). As an intern, you will gain valuable experience in managing cost, technical, and schedule performance across multiple contracts. You will contribute to the following:
• Financial Performance Monitoring: Perform monthly status reports to finance targets, conduct cost/schedule variance analyses, develop monthly estimates at complete assessments, and implement scope changes.
• Budget Management: Develop working knowledge of establishing and monitoring program budgets, tracking and reconciling actual costs, and recommending corrective actions when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gaining a deep understanding of project management principles and practices, including cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Supporting the team in developing and maintaining program budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying potential cost overruns.
• Analyzing program performance data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
• Assisting with the preparation of project reports and presentations.
• Participating in team meetings and discussions.
• Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
• Required: Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Finance or Business Management. Must be a US Citizen; this position requires a government security clearance. The position is located at a facility that requires special access.
• Desired: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word).
Security Clearance: This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. The clearance level is Secret.
Location: This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Work Schedule: This is a Part-Time internship position.
