Job Description: Summer 2025 High School Editorial Intern
This 12-week, 16-hour/week remote internship with the High School Editorial team at BFW Publishers (a part of Macmillan Learning) offers hands-on experience in educational content development and learning technology. The internship is open to students enrolled in a degree program (Bachelor’s or Master’s), graduating in Spring 2025, or recent graduates (within the last 6 months). Preference is given to students with AP courses, College and Career Readiness programs, or Dual Enrollment experience in high school.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct market research on various high school courses.
• Gather, organize, and summarize teacher feedback and survey responses.
• Track trends in high school education to inform product development.
• Assist in preparing content and resources for print and digital learning platforms.
• Gather course leads and contacts for market research and review.
• Work closely with editorial teams and authors to maintain project schedules.
• Participate in team meetings to understand the development of learning solutions.
Skills/Knowledge:
The ideal candidate will be enrolled in a degree program (Bachelor’s, Master’s, etc.), graduating in Spring 2025 or recently graduated. Experience with AP Courses, College and Career Readiness programs, or Dual Enrollment in High School is preferred.
Location & Restrictions:
This is a remote internship, but is *not• available in Arizona, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Washington DC, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington State, West Virginia, or Wyoming.
Pay: $16.50/hour
