Job Description: Summer 2025 Aircraft Field Support Engineer Intern (F-35 Program)
This internship provides an opportunity to dive into the world of aircraft sustainment support at Eielson. You will be exposed to sustainment systems and learn how to use them to troubleshoot aircraft issues and return them to service.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor the health of the F-35 fleet at Eielson.
• Advise on corrective actions when aircraft present anomalies.
• Learn about basic aircraft maintenance principles and practice.
Qualifications:
• Required:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in an Aerospace field of study OR pursuing certification as a Federal Aviation Administration Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic (FAA A&P).
• US Citizenship (required for government security clearance)
• Desired:

• Ability to perform detail-oriented work with accuracy and speed.
Location: This position is located at a facility requiring special access.
Security Clearance: This position requires a government security clearance.
