About the Job

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Summer 2024 Software Engineer Intern to join its team in Fort Worth, Texas. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of software development, including experience with programming software languages such as C++ and/or Java, and object-oriented programming principles.

In this role, you will span the software development lifecycle, including requirements generation, system and software design and implementation, and integration and test. You will also work with a team of engineers to develop and test software for a variety of projects.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced and challenging environment. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and learn from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS or greater in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an Accredited University. Other Engineering degrees considered with significant engineering software development experience.
• Experience with programming software languages such as C++ and/or Java
• Object Oriented Programming Principles
• Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
• This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
