Job Description: Summer 2024 Operations Intern (Job ID: 680525BR)
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Summer 2024 Operations Intern to work closely with Operations leadership and support teams. This internship involves supporting cost reduction initiatives, managing databases, and planning the implementation of new ideas. The intern will gain exposure to various aspects of Operations, assisting in problem-solving and incorporating solutions into implementation plans.
This role requires working within cross-functional teams, engaging in a full range of product/project management activities, including:
• Problem-solving
• Team communication
• Planning
• Presentations
• Project implementation assistance
Responsibilities:
• Tracking cost reduction initiatives.
• Managing databases.
• Planning implementation of pipeline ideas.
• Assisting in problem-solving and implementing solutions.
• Working in a cross-functional team environment.
• Contributing to a full range of product/project management activities.
Basic Qualifications:
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Quality, Finance, Industrial, Project Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of analytical tools, workflow time study, and process balancing.
• Knowledge of databases, data mining, and data analysis.
• Some knowledge of ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with project management principles.
• US Citizenship is required.
