Sublet Coordinator / Repair Order Administrator | DriveTime Family of Brands
The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site role at DriveTime Family of Brands, contributing to the nation’s largest privately owned used car sales, finance, and servicing company. DriveTime focuses on providing quality pre-owned vehicles through transparent pricing and extensive reconditioning. This position is vital for managing external vendor relationships and ensuring the high standards of vehicle repairs are met before vehicles are offered to customers, directly impacting the company’s commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

• Location: On-site (Reconditioning Center)
• Team: Communicates with Inspection Center General Manager (ICGM) and/or Inspection Center Recon Managers (ICRM).
• Mission: Coordinate, oversee, and financially reconcile all external vendor repairs to ensure vehicle quality and efficient repair order close-out.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Vendor Coordination: Assign and manage sublet work, including setting up transport for off-site repairs, with external vendors.
• Quality Assurance: Review all completed sublet work to ensure adherence to quality and time expectations.
• Financial Accuracy: Process and approve all sublet and facility invoices, ensuring accurate pricing and applying them to repair orders.
• Communication & Reporting: Convey quality or time issues with vendors to the Inspection Center General Manager or Recon Managers.
• Repair Order Management: Code labor and parts to repair orders to facilitate their accurate close-out.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or GED required. Must be at least 18 years of age and able to operate all types of vehicles at a Reconditioning Center.
• Experience: Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; experience performing detailed vehicle inspections and maintaining accurate records of vehicle conditions.
• Skills: Familiarity with company cosmetic standards, ability to work cohesively with management and team members to approve inventory, commitment to workplace safety, and strong communication skills for vendor interaction.
