Job Description: Subcontract Manager

Who You Are: You are an experienced professional with a proven track record in managing supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf commodities.

What You Will Be Doing: As a Subcontract Manager, you will lead multifunctional subcontract management teams, hold procurement delegation, and sign supplier agreements & purchase orders within established authority. You will be responsible for:

• Leading the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms & conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services.
• Supporting development, production, and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.
• Preparing bid packages, conducting bidders’ conferences, developing evaluation criteria, analyzing and evaluating proposals, and negotiating subcontract provisions including price.
• Selecting or recommending subcontractors, writing subcontract packages, preparing awards, and administering resulting subcontracts and required change activity.
• Leading performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD and international programs.
