Job Description: Studio/Production Designer (Freelance with potential for full-time)
Starfish is searching for an experienced Studio/Production Designer with 3+ years of agency or in-house experience. This role demands proficiency in a fast-paced, high-volume agency environment. The successful candidate will be adept at meeting deadlines, independently managing projects, and collaborating effectively with the design team under the direction of Creative Directors and Project Managers. The position will initially be freelance, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time employment. The work schedule requires on-site presence Tuesday through Thursday, with Mondays and Fridays remote.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing multiple projects and deadlines independently and efficiently.
• Collaborating with the design team and reporting to Creative Directors and Project Managers.
• Working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Required Skills and Attributes:
• Proficiency in: Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint).
• Expertise in both print and digital production processes.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Advanced typography skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong aesthetic sensibility and an excellent eye for photography.
• Experience presenting directly to clients.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in an agency or in-house environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
