Student Worker – Peer-to-Peer (Early Careers, Hourly and Seasonal)

This position, located in Washington, DC, involves communicating with parents and students about the benefits of university meal plans and dining options. The role focuses on achieving sales goals through marketing strategies and maintaining customer satisfaction among meal plan members. The Student Worker must be a student at the Aramark location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create graphics for posters, social media, digital signage, and other avenues to communicate dining information, adhering to Aramark brand standards.
• Assist in dining membership tabling events and activities on campus to educate and sell meal plans.
• Be knowledgeable about the meal plan structure, monetary value, and overall benefits of eating on campus.
• Distribute marketing materials and promotional items.
• Present information to customers and answer questions regarding dining services.
• Participate in a sales team to host events during orientation, move-in weekend, and the first three weeks of the Fall/Spring semester.
• Assist with various other marketing events during key times in the Fall & Spring semester.

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of all social media platforms.
• Experience in graphic design programs such as Adobe Creative Suites and/or Canva.
• Strong eye for detail with design, able to proof work and ensure accuracy in work completed.

Compensation:

• The hourly rate for this position is $17.95 to $20.00.
