Job Description:

This position is for a Student Worker/Helper/Werkstudent (m/f/d) at the Boeing Global Services Lab in Frankfurt, Germany. The lab focuses on developing disruptive innovative ideas for the evolving aviation software industry. They work on software topics like drones, big data analytics, machine learning, and intelligent cabins. This role offers the chance to contribute to shaping the future of the aviation industry in an international environment.

Responsibilities:

As a Student Worker/Helper/Werkstudent, you will:

• Contribute to innovative ideas and solutions for the aviation software industry.
• Work in a collaborative environment with other labs, researchers, and customers globally.
• Participate in projects related to drones, big data analytics, machine learning, and intelligent cabins.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Masters or Bachelor degree program in one of the following areas: Aviation Engineering, Business, Human Factors/Psychology, Computer Science, Data Analytics/Science and Machine Learning, with a focus on software technologies.
• Fluent in English (both written and verbal). German language proficiency is beneficial but not required.
• Experience with aviation, software, or other relevant technologies is a plus.
• International exposure gained through studies or work experience is considered an advantage.

• Ability to think abstractly and connect ideas to products and solutions.
• Enthusiasm and excitement for new projects and crafting new ideas and services.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within an international team and proactively shape ideas and share results.
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle unfamiliar topics.
• Ability to manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful ideation and product development.

Important Notes:

• This is a locally hired position in Germany. Candidates MUST HAVE CURRENT LEGAL AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IMMEDIATELY IN GERMANY. Boeing will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
• Benefits and pay are determined locally and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
• Relocation is not offered for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
