Job Description

The Student Worker – Functional position at Aramark is primarily responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned area(s) to ensure high levels of customer and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Safety and Compliance: Adhering to established safety procedures and complying with all OSHA, state, local, federal, and Aramark regulations to maintain a safe working environment. This also involves keeping the environment clean and orderly to project safety and health for everyone.
• Cleaning Operations: Properly cleaning and maintaining all housekeeping equipment. Cleaning assigned areas according to both Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Waste Management: Following specific procedures for the storage and disposal of trash, and transporting it to designated areas.
• Maintenance and Security: Reporting any maintenance concerns by submitting work order requests to the appropriate personnel. This role also includes securing the facility, which means ensuring the building is locked or unlocked as needed, and guaranteeing the security of company assets.
• Flexibility: Job duties may be subject to change or new duties may be assigned without formal notice, reflecting the dynamic nature of the role and Aramark’s commitment to meeting operational needs.

Qualifications for this role are:

• Experience: Previous custodial experience is preferred, indicating a benefit from prior relevant work.
