About the Job Description
This job is for a Student Worker – Functional.
The primary purpose of this role is to clean and maintain assigned area(s) to ensure customer and client satisfaction.
Key Job Responsibilities include:
• Adhering to established procedures for a safe working environment, including compliance with OSHA, state, local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly environment to project safety and health.
• Properly cleaning and maintaining housekeeping equipment.
• Cleaning assigned areas to meet Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Following procedures for the storage and disposal of trash, and transporting it to designated areas.
• Reporting maintenance concerns by submitting work order requests to appropriate personnel.
• Securing the facility, which involves ensuring the building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensuring the security of company assets.

Qualifications for this role are:
• Previous custodial experience is preferred, but not explicitly required.
• The ability to perform frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions, particularly due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
Physical Demands:
This role has significant physical demands. These may include, but are not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
Other Requirements:
This role may also require the wearing of uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
