Student Internship/College Intern | Architecture | 2026

Duration: Perkins Eastman’s Summer Internship will run from June 1, 2026, to August 14, 2026.

Internship Description

Perkins Eastman offers paid summer internship positions for students. College interns will experience a collaborative and congenial work environment, with the unique opportunity to work on projects as fully integrated members of design teams. The program includes participation in learning sessions focused on various aspects of delivering successful projects for clients. Interns will also engage with the firm’s rich and diverse culture and the broader community through lectures, project tours, and events.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for project work, as assigned by the team leadership, across various phases of a project.
  • Participates in design development with the client and team, utilizing various means of communication and delivery.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or have completed the third year of an undergraduate program in:
    • Architecture
    • Interior Design
    • Graphic Design
    • Business
    • Design Planning
  • No prior work experience required.
  • Possess excellent presentation, written, verbal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate outstanding analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable communicating design concepts and processes.
  • Experience in business strategy and workplace planning and design is a plus.
  • Proficient with software including:
    • AutoCAD
    • Revit (a plus)
    • Adobe Suite software
    • Affinity suite software
    • Visualization software
    • Illustrator
    • Sketchup
    • 3D software such as Rhino and Grasshopper
    • InDesign
    • PowerPoint
    • Excel
    • Other data management software

Compensation

Compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, location, and education. The typical salary ranges from $23.00 per hour to $25.00 per hour.
