Job Title: Student Internship/College Intern | Architecture | 2026
Duration: Perkins Eastman’s Summer Internship will run from June 1, 2026, to August 14, 2026 (approximately 10 weeks).

Description
Perkins Eastman is pleased to offer paid summer internship positions specifically designed for college students. Our college interns are welcomed into a collaborative and congenial work environment, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to real-world projects as fully integrated members of our dynamic design teams.
Interns will participate in comprehensive learning sessions that focus on various crucial aspects of delivering successful projects for our diverse clientele. Beyond project work, participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in the rich and diverse culture of the firm and the broader professional community through engaging lectures, insightful project tours, and various special events.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for undertaking assigned project work across various phases of a project lifecycle, as directed by team leadership.
- Actively participates in design development discussions with clients and the internal team, utilizing diverse communication and delivery methods to articulate concepts and progress.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Currently enrolled in Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Business, or Design Planning Programs, OR have successfully completed the third year of an undergraduate program in a related field.
- No prior professional work experience is required – we welcome emerging talent.
Skills & Abilities:
- Possess excellent presentation, written, verbal, and overall communication skills.
- Demonstrate outstanding analytical and interpersonal capabilities.
- Comfortable and proficient in communicating complex design concepts and processes effectively.
- Experience in business strategy and workplace planning and design is considered a strong plus.
Software Proficiency:
- Proficient with industry-standard software, including:
- CAD/BIM: AutoCAD, Revit (a plus)
- Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other Adobe Suite software.
- Affinity Suite: Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer, Affinity Publisher.
- 3D Modeling & Visualization: Sketchup, Rhino, Grasshopper, and other 3D software.
- Productivity & Data Management: PowerPoint, Excel, and other data management software.
