Job Title: Student Intern
Department: Talent Strategy & HR Technology
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Position Type: Part-Time
The Student Intern position is designed to allow the intern to function as a regular staff member as much as possible. The role involves assisting with specialized projects and administrative tasks to ensure project coordination and completion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with specialized projects and administrative tasks.
• Compile, consolidate reports, and prepare presentations based on findings.
• Assist with administrative tasks for project coordination.
• Ensure project timelines are met (if applicable).
• Conduct research and gather data for reports and presentations.
• Work closely with assigned staff and varying levels of management.
• Maintain cooperation with key project stakeholders.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including confidentiality.
• Assume personal and professional responsibility for actions.
• Maintain professional relationships with employees and customers.
• Apply academic knowledge to the company setting.
• Develop self-awareness regarding attitudes and behaviors that influence work.
• Utilize learning opportunities within the company.
• Submit work assignments punctually to supervisors and faculty coordinator.
• Provide periodic progress reports to the faculty coordinator.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Required Education:
• Must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree and field placement program.
Required Experience:
• Must have general experience writing, meeting project deadlines, and working with basic Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Skills:
• Knowledge of analyzing data through use of SQL, SAS, and/or other equivalent programming languages.
Preferred Majors:
• Computer science, mathematics, engineering, information technology
Additional Information:
• The intern will be performing outcome analysis of pharmacy interventions for STAR measurement to determine most effective outreach program.
• The intern will be assisting with financial reporting of pharmacy utilization by trending pharmacy and medical data.
• The intern should have a strong interest in learning and applying skills of an ETL developer to manage and implement technical solutions for pharmacy operations.
