Job description, detailed:
This is a Student Intern role at Venture Starters, which is a part-time, remote, and non-paid position.
The primary and simplest task for the intern is to attend 8 Zoom events. Each Zoom meeting is 2-hours long, meaning a total investment of 16 hours over the next 2-3 months is required to complete the internship. The internship program officially starts on September 10th and concludes once the intern has attended all 8 required Zoom meetings.
Venture Starters holds 40 Zoom meetings annually, offering interns the flexibility to choose when they have time to attend the 8 required sessions.
Upon successful completion of attending 8 Zoom meetings, interns will:
• Receive a Certificate of Completion.
• Be able to add the internship to their resume and LinkedIn profile page.
• Gain a fantastic opportunity to learn about the world of startups and develop skills in the startup and venture capital ecosystem.
• Have the chance to meet amazing people within the community.
The program offers auto-acceptance for students or recent graduates.
Key Qualifications:
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• A genuine interest in startups and the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Must be available for 2 hours on a Zoom meeting at a time of their choosing.
• Experience in event coordination or community management is considered a plus.
• Currently enrolled in a college or university program is preferred.
