Position Title: Student Intern (also referred to as Student Research Intern)

Position Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Student Intern to join the team and support clinical research studies. The primary focus of this role is to assist with research involving adult and pediatric patients with multiple sclerosis.

Job Responsibilities:

Data Entry: Accurately entering various types of data.
Filing: Organizing and maintaining physical and digital documents.
Scheduling: Assisting with the coordination and scheduling of appointments or research activities.
Administrative Tasks: Performing other general administrative duties as required.
Research Subject Interaction (Potential): Opportunity to recruit and screen research subjects.
Team Participation (Potential): Engaging and participating actively with the research team.
Coordination: Managing and coordinating research materials and various study items.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: At least one year of undergraduate studies completed.
Academic Field: Preferably studying health sciences or a related field.
Skills: Strong organizational skills are required.
Student Status (General): Must be a full-time student.
Student Status (Summer Specific): If working during the summer months (Mid-May through Mid-September), the intern must be planning to return to full-time student status in the Fall.
Employment Classification (Summer): During summer months, the position must be classified as “Casual.”
Work Type: Functions performed must be NBU (non-bargaining-unit) work.
Relevance: The functions performed must be related to the intern’s professional course of study or specialty field.

Salary Range:
The stated salary range for this position is $16.50 – $20.00 per hour.
