Student Housing Operations Internship
Trinity Property Consultants is seeking dynamic and entrepreneurial individuals with a proactive “can-do” attitude to join our Social Student Spaces management teams nationwide as Student Housing Operations Interns. This is a unique opportunity to advance your career knowledge within the rapidly expanding multifamily industry, working with an organization committed to exceptional customer service and guided by strong values.
Under the direct supervision of an assigned mentor, each Intern will collaborate closely with our team of professionals to cultivate a thriving and captivating living experience for student renters across the nation. This internship offers a comprehensive dive into Student Housing, encompassing critical facets such as Marketing, Property Operations, and Facilities Management.
We are looking for Interns who possess a great attitude, are strong team-players, will genuinely embody their university spirit, and can effectively relate to potential residents at their respective properties.

Job Summary:
As a Student Housing Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience across various operational areas, contributing directly to resident satisfaction and property success. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn the intricacies of student housing management from the ground up, with a focus on marketing, customer service, and property support.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
• Property Ambassador & Leasing Agent: Serve as a primary point of contact, providing exceptional service to students, residents, and prospective tenants.
• Customer Service: Deliver superior customer service through all communication channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Marketing & Outreach: Support social media initiatives and prospect outreach efforts to attract new residents.
• Property Maintenance Support: Conduct unit walks and property condition assessments to ensure high standards.
• Leasing Journey Guidance: Guide prospects through all phases of the leasing process, from inquiry to move-in.
• Market Research: Assist in market survey and data comparison analyses to inform leasing strategies.
• Promotional Material: Help with the creation and effective use of promotional materials.
• Online Engagement: Post about our communities and resident services online, including social media platforms and relevant forums.
• Additional Tasks: Undertake various tasks as assigned by the Manager to support property operations.

Requirements

Computer Skills:
• Intermediate knowledge of general computer usage and internet navigation.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Education Requirements:
• Must be currently enrolled in a four-year university, community college, or trade school.
• A Marketing, Real Estate, or Business Degree is preferred but not strictly required.
• Ability to fluently read and write English, accurately perform intermediate mathematical functions, and proficiently use all on-site resident management software functions.
Professional Experience (Preferred):
• One year of experience in a sales or customer service role.

Special Requirements
Physical Demands:
• The team member will be regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach using feet, legs, back, arms, and hands.
• Occasional climbing may be required.
• Ability to work at a personal computer and talk on the phone for extended periods of time.
• Must possess the ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms.
• Willingness to assist with light labor, such as, but not limited to, walking units, painting, and assembling furniture.
Work Schedule & Availability:
• This is a full-time internship position.
• May require availability to work some nights, weekends, and occasional holidays.
• Regular attendance and active participation/planning at company functions and events is required.
• Must be willing to work weekends and flexible hours as needed.
