Job Description: Student Food Services / Catering Worker

This role offers students an opportunity to kickstart their careers by joining Aramark’s campus operations. It provides a chance to work with passionate teams and dedicated leaders focused on employee development. The position is designed to help individuals gain valuable experience in food preparation, safety guidelines, and crucial customer service and social skills. While prior experience is preferred, it is not the most important factor; Aramark is seeking students who are ready to be “trailblazers.”

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Student Food Services / Catering Worker are dynamic and may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs. Key duties include:
• Preparing and building food items strictly following standardized recipes and directions.
• Properly storing food in accordance with established standards.
• Setting up various workstations, including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, and steam tables.
• Breaking down, cleaning, and sanitizing workstations efficiently.
• Serving food to customers, ensuring guest satisfaction, and actively anticipating their needs.
• Replenishing food items and ensuring products are stocked to appropriate levels.
• Maintaining excellent customer service and a positive demeanor when interacting with guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Adhering to all Aramark safety policies and procedures, including strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ensuring the security of company assets.

Qualifications:
Preferred: Previous food service experience is an asset.
