Job Description: Student Food Services / Catering Worker

As a Student Food Services / Catering Worker, the individual will play a crucial role in food preparation and adherence to safety guidelines. Beyond technical skills, the position is designed to help students master customer service and social skills. The Essential Functions and Responsibilities of this position may vary depending on the specific location, client requirements, and business needs.

Key Job Responsibilities include:
• Preparing and building food items following standardized recipes and directions.
• Properly storing food in accordance with established standards.
• Setting up workstations, which include prep tables, service counters, hot wells, steam tables, etc.
• Breaking down, cleaning, and sanitizing workstations after use.
• Serving food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating their needs.
• Replenishing food items to ensure products are stocked to appropriate levels.
• Maintaining excellent customer service and a positive demeanor with guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Adhering strictly to Aramark’s safety policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ensuring the security of company assets.

Qualifications:
Previous food service experience is preferred, but not explicitly required, as the focus is on readiness to learn.
