Job Description: Student Food Services / Catering Worker

This role offers an opportunity for students to kickstart their future with Aramark’s passionate teams and dedicated leaders. It’s a campus-based position where individuals will play an important part in food preparation, safety guideline adherence, and mastering customer service and social skills. Prior experience is not the most important factor; Aramark seeks students who are ready to be trailblazers.

Key Responsibilities (may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs):

• Food Preparation:
• Prepares and builds food items following standardized recipes and directions.
• Properly stores food in accordance with established standards.
• Workstation Management:
• Sets up various workstations, including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, and steam tables.
• Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations after use.
• Customer Service and Food Service:
• Serves food to customers, ensuring guest satisfaction and proactively anticipating their needs.
• Replenishes food items and ensures products are stocked to appropriate levels.
• Maintains excellent customer service and a positive demeanor toward guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adheres strictly to Aramark’s safety policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ensures the security of company assets.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous food service experience is preferred, but not strictly required.
• Certifications: Must have or be willing to acquire food safety certification.
• Skills: Demonstrates strong guest service skills.
