Job Overview:
As a Student Food Services / Catering Worker, you will play a crucial role in preparing food, adhering to safety guidelines, and mastering customer service and social skills. While prior experience is preferred, it’s not the most important factor; Aramark is specifically looking for students who are ready to be “trailblazers.” The role emphasizes hands-on experience in a food service environment within a campus setting. The specific essential functions and responsibilities may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs. Key Responsibilities:

• Food Preparation: Prepares and builds food items following standardized recipes and directions.
• Food Storage: Properly stores food in accordance with established standards.
• Workstation Setup: Sets up various workstations, including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, and steam tables.
• Cleaning & Sanitation: Breaks down, cleans, and sanitizes workstations to maintain hygiene standards.
• Customer Service: Serves food to customers, ensuring guest satisfaction and actively anticipating their needs.
• Inventory Management: Replenishes food items and ensures products are stocked to appropriate levels.
• Professional Demeanor: Maintains excellent customer service and a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Safety & Compliance: Adheres to Aramark’s safety policies and procedures, including strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Asset Security: Ensures the security of company assets.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous food service experience is preferred but not strictly required.
• Certifications: Must have or be willing to acquire food safety certification.
• Skills: Demonstrates strong guest service skills.
