Job Summary:
The primary responsibilities of this role include the assembly and serving of patient meals. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and ensuring cleanliness and aseptic conditions in assigned areas, as well as stocking the dish room.

Qualifications And Experience:
Age Requirement: Must be a student under the age of 18 and currently at least 15 years of age.
Certifications: Food Handler Training Certificate is preferred.
Knowledge: Knowledge of Best Practices for Prevention and Control of Infection in Health Care Settings.
Technical Skills: Ability to use Microsoft Office.
Communication Skills: Proven ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written English instructions; Demonstrates proficiency in written and verbal communications skills.
Physical Demands: Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
Work Ethic & Soft Skills:

Hours of Work:
The position requires seven days a week availability, with shifts typically from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Up to three shifts per week may be scheduled.

Other Requirements & Screening:
As part of the mandatory screening process, the Hospital will require:

• Verification of academic training and professional accreditation.
• A current criminal record check.
