The Team & Role:

Working with our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, you will enhance your classroom skills by balancing the priorities of multiple engineering teams and projects. You will collaborate with various departments beyond your own, including Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Sales, Materials, Management, and more. This role requires a willingness to spend time in diverse settings, specifically a manufacturing environment, a lab/testing environment, and/or an office setting. Your responsibilities will encompass both individual tasks and collaborative group projects.

Team Projects May Include:

  • Design Engineering: Create 3D models and drawings for tooling and fixtures to support manufacturing. Work alongside experienced design professionals and gain exposure to 3D printing and automation design.
  • Advanced Manufacturing: Contribute to process improvement, audits, and manufacturing development projects. Gain experience with data analysis, lab prototyping equipment, and design software for real-world applications.
  • Process & Equipment Development: Assist with new product launches, plant layouts, and equipment implementation. Apply Lean principles, participate in PFMEAs (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and help qualify manufacturing processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Strong interest in manufacturing, process improvement, or product design.
  • Skills or coursework in areas such as CAD/3D modeling, machining, data analysis, Lean/continuous improvement, or automation.
  • Anticipated Graduation of May 2027.
