This is a Student Employee (Federal Work Study) position within the Political Science, Criminal Justice, and Organizational Leadership Department.

Position Title: Student Employee (Federal Work Study)
Work Study Type: Federal Work Study only.
Location: FH – Founders Hall
Work Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours between 8:15 am and 4:30 pm. No weekends, evenings, or holidays are required.
Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible for Federal Work Study and maintain a GPA of 2.0 or above.
Primary Responsibilities: The role involves general office duties and providing support to the department. Key tasks include:
• Greeting students, faculty, staff, and visitors at the front desk.
• Answering the department telephone.
• Providing customer service.
• Assisting administrative staff and department faculty with various tasks.
• Running errands on campus.
• Performing database entry.
• Assisting with special projects.
• Handling filing, copying, scanning, and typing tasks.
• Sorting and delivering mail.
Qualifications: Ideal candidates will possess:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Sufficient computer skills.
• Dependability and a positive attitude.
• The ability to work well with others.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma
Pay Rate: The pay rate is a minimum of $12.00 per hour.
