About the Internship Program

This is an intensive 11-week paid learning experience designed to give you hands-on exposure to T-Mobile’s operations. As an intern, you will:

  • Contribute your creativity and outstanding ideas to real-world projects.

About the Strategy & Corporate Development Team

Our team plays a critical role in driving T-Mobile’s strategic direction and growth. Our high-level objectives include:

  • Driving enterprise value by analyzing growth drivers and enabling smarter decisions that strengthen T-Mobile’s core performance, all while adhering to the customer-centric Uncarrier philosophy.
  • Shaping the strategic roadmap for significant digital and technology shifts, aligning functions and investments to maximize enterprise-wide impact in complex cross-functional areas (e.g., on base management, T-Life).
  • Providing the strategic rigor, customer/market insights, and cross-functional alignment necessary to build and scale new growth engines.
  • Evaluating disruptive forces and coordinating enterprise responses to strategically position T-Mobile ahead of industry changes.

Your Role as a Strategy & Corporate Development Intern

As a Strategy & Corporate Development intern, you will be directly involved in conducting in-depth analyses to support one or more of our critical projects. These projects span key areas such as core business growth, digital & technology transformation, emerging business growth, and industry reshaping innovations.

Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Evaluating commercial tradeoffs for new and existing products and businesses, considering factors such as price, channel, media, and brand strategy.
  • Analyzing industry and economic trends to navigate future uncertainties and identify strategic opportunities.
  • Investigating and understanding the competitive landscape to uncover market gaps and areas for growth.
  • Assisting T-Mobile in resource allocation decisions by comparing different strategic outcomes.
  • Building and delivering unique recommendations and perspectives to key executives.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree program and have at least one semester remaining following the internship.
  • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for internships.
  • Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. This includes F-1 status students who desire sponsorship after completing their education.

Compensation & Relocation

  • Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour, with the actual pay determined by experience and location.
  • Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
