About the Internship Program

This is an 11-week paid learning experience designed to provide you with hands-on experience, training, and a leg up on a bright future. You’ll have the opportunity to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. We invite you to come innovate with mentors who will challenge you to develop meaningful skills. You’ll contribute your creativity and outstanding ideas, while working alongside T-Mobile employees, gaining hands-on projects and the chance to create an immediate impact.

What It’s Like: Our Team’s High-Level Objectives

Our team’s high-level objectives are:

  • Drive enterprise value by analyzing growth drivers and enabling smarter decisions that strengthen T-Mobile’s core performance while remaining true to the customer-centric Uncarrier approach.
  • Shape the strategic roadmap for digital and technology shifts – aligning functions and investments to maximize impact enterprise-wide in complex cross-functional areas (e.g., on base management, T-Life).
  • Provide the strategic rigor, customer / market insights and cross-functional alignment needed to build and scale new growth engines.
  • Evaluate disruptive forces and coordinate enterprise responses that position T-Mobile ahead of industry change.

What You’ll Do as an Intern

You will be a Strategy & Corporate Development intern responsible for conducting analyses in support of one or more of our projects focused on the above listed Strategy & Corp Dev team responsibilities (e.g., core business growth, digital & technology transformation, emerging business growth, or industry reshaping innovations).

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate tradeoffs of commercial decisions spanning new / existing products and businesses including e.g., price, channel, media, and brand.
  • Grapple with industry and economic trends to navigate future uncertainties.
  • Investigate and understand the competitive landscape to find gaps and opportunities for growth.
  • Help T-Mobile decide where best to allocate resources while comparing different outcomes.
  • Build and deliver unique recommendations and perspectives to key executives.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree program and have at least one semester remaining following the internship.

Important Notes:

  • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for internships.
  • Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. This also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

Logistics & Compensation

  • Relocation may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
  • Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location.
