Strategy Business Partner | Lhoist

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to evaluate long-range plans, investment opportunities, and risk scenarios.
• Business Analysis: Analyze business cases tied to growth, efficiency, and profitability, performing ad hoc analysis for senior leadership.
• Strategic Partnering: Partner with operations, commercial, and supply chain teams to align financial plans with strategic business priorities.
• Reporting & Tracking: Prepare financial reporting packages focused on strategic KPIs and forward-looking performance, conducting variance analysis.
• Project Evaluation: Lead valuation, financial due diligence, and scenario modeling for acquisitions, expansions, and capital projects.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
• Experience: At least 3-6 years of strategic finance, FP&A, consulting, or investment analysis experience in a manufacturing or capital-intensive setting.
• Skills: Proven financial planning and modeling, strategic thinking with a deep understanding of financial value drivers, exceptional verbal and written communication, strong collaboration and influencing across functions, and data analysis to translate complex information into actionable insights.
• Bonus: Master’s degree in Business Administration, five (5) years of proven strategic finance or consulting experience, previous mergers and acquisitions exposure, and familiarity with cost accounting, inventory control, and capital project evaluation.
