Strategic Sourcing Intern:

This internship offers a unique opportunity to assist the Strategic Sourcing department with a variety of projects. You’ll play a crucial role in contributing to Disney’s success by:

Responsibilities:

Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation, focusing on areas like improved quality, cost, service, and compliance.
Liaison Work: Act as a bridge between Strategic Sourcing and key clients, ensuring efficient supply chain methods are in place.
Sourcing Project Support: Provide support for sourcing projects, including data analysis, supplier interface, and facilitating supplier presentations.
eRFIs/eRFQs/eRFPs/eAuctions: Develop and implement these procurement tools to streamline the sourcing process.
Negotiations: Participate in supplier negotiations to secure the best deals for Disney.
Market Research: Conduct external market assessments and opportunity analyses to stay ahead of industry trends.
Relationship Management: Develop and manage partner and supplier relationships, including contract implementations.
Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of sourcing strategies that align with business initiatives and priorities.

Requirements:

Education: Currently enrolled as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student at an accredited college/university pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Logistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Preferred: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with an MBA.
GPA: Cumulative overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Eligibility:
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to the internship.
• OR, must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months.
• OR, currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship.
Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
Experience: Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
Work Authorization: Must possess unrestricted work authorization.

Location: Lake Buena Vista, FL.

Program Length: January 2025 to June 2025 (Full-time).

Housing: Housing opportunities are available through American Campus Communities (for Florida-based interns).

Transportation: You must provide reliable transportation.
