Description: Strategic Marketing Internships (NYC – Summer 2025)

WBD offers multiple Strategic Marketing internship opportunities in NYC for Summer 2025. Applying to this posting considers you for all available internships in this area. Interns will work in the office regularly, based on their manager’s schedule.

Potential Internship Roles (examples):

• HBO Growth Marketing Intern
• HBO/Max Promo Planning & Scheduling Intern

Responsibilities (may vary depending on the specific role):

• Collaborate with operational partners to ensure promotional content airs as scheduled.
• Track campaign timelines and coordinate needs with internal teams and vendors.
• Assist in developing and implementing promotional plans for priority campaigns.
• Work with internal Content Strategy and Scheduling teams and external WBD Marketing partners.
• Conduct competitive marketing research by monitoring brand activity on distributor social/digital platforms and websites.
• Monitor MVPD/VMVPD UI placement.
• Create files and artwork in Photoshop.
• Manage campaigns from start to finish.
• Submit creative briefs.
• Develop website and social media extensions, gaining a comprehensive understanding of print and digital business aspects.

Desired Skills & Experience (“Nice To Haves”):

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
• Strong analytical skills; understanding of research and summarizing findings.
• Experience with various social platforms and analytical tools (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.).
• Knowledge of the competitive landscape, including SVOD and OTT services (a plus).

Currently pursuings & Experience (Essential):

• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the internship’s duration (proof required).
• Must be a rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student (18 years or older). Undergraduate students only.
• Must maintain good academic standing (3.0 GPA or higher). A transcript will be required if an offer is extended.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.

Internship Details:

Duration: 11 weeks (two options for start/end dates: June 2nd – August 15th or June 9th – August 22nd).
Hours: 35-40 hours per week, hybrid work model.
Pay: $19/hour USD (undergraduates), $25/hour USD (graduate students).
Credit: Not required, but documentation for school credit will be provided if needed.
Relocation: Not provided.
Interviewing: February – mid-April.
