Position Summary

This is a fast-paced internship opportunity for qualified Engineers and Scientists who enjoy investigation and problem-solving, with an interest in natural resources and manufacturing. The role involves providing engineering solutions to environmental challenges, specifically by assisting in the management of the Company’s manufacturing facilities’ stormwater compliance programs across California, Oregon, and Washington.

Wages & Compensation

  • Hourly Wage: $19.50 to $21.50 per hour
  • Additional Compensation: Housing allowance for qualifying individuals.

Key Responsibilities (Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To)

Assist in the development of stormwater maintenance plans by:

  • Developing a comprehensive list of stormwater components.
  • Reviewing manufacturer manuals and cataloging relevant specifications for components.
  • Listing component maintenance frequencies.
  • Preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various maintenance tasks.
  • Developing work orders for equipment maintenance.
  • Coordinating with the team to update drawings and stormwater plans.

Qualifications

  • Education: College-level coursework in engineering or natural science.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Knowledge of database design is desirable.
    • Willingness to learn and operate in a database system.
    • Ability to work with code is a plus.
    • Knowledgeable with spreadsheets.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Excellent critical thinking and writing skills.
    • Thorough and organized.

  • Eugene, Oregon
  • Shelton, Washington
