Store Manager in Training | CVS Health

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at CVS Health, located in-person within a designated market. As a Store Manager In Training, you will be prepared for a CVS Store Manager position through a 16-week self-paced, collaborative training program, supported by a dedicated team of leaders and coaches. The TL;DR

• Pay: $18.50–$23.88 hourly
• Mission: This role trains an individual to lead store operations and colleagues, ensuring high customer service and business performance in alignment with CVS Health’s purpose.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Communication: Clearly communicate with and support your team both verbally and in writing.
• Deliver Service: Provide high levels of customer care to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Drive Sales: Execute merchandising strategies to promote store sales growth.
• Manage Assets: Maintain store profitability by effectively managing inventory and assets.
• Foster Purpose: Lead colleagues and engage them in support of CVS values and the company’s purpose of “helping people on their path to better health.”

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager in Training. Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Retail management experience, or prior experience as a CVS Supervisor. Must be willing to accept a promotion to a Store Manager role and transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the designated market.
• Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, customer care, merchandising strategy execution, inventory and asset management, and the ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs.
• Bonus: A four-year college degree is preferred, or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree.
