What You’ll Actually Do
• Instruct: Guide students through advanced statistical concepts, including mathematical statistics, maximum likelihood estimation, and Bayesian inference.
• Simplify: Break down complex ideas like likelihood function derivations and ANOVA decompositions, making them accessible for graduate students.
• Prepare: Help students prepare for research methodology and doctoral-level statistical analysis, connecting theoretical foundations to real-world applications.
• Adapt: Modify teaching methods using R or Python statistical computing, research paper examples, and proof-based exercises to meet diverse student needs.
• Tutor: Deliver personalized 1-on-1 and instant online tutoring sessions using the dedicated Live Learning Platform.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A profound understanding of graduate-level statistical theory and applications, encompassing mathematical statistics, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to explain complex statistical concepts and problem-solving techniques, guiding students through designing experiments and implementing statistical models.
• Skills: Expertise in Bayesian inference, multivariate methods, asymptotic theory, and generalized linear models. Proficiency in statistical computing with R or Python. Strong communication skills.
